Jason Clarke, Chairman
Jason Clarke was appointed Chairman of the Flint Group Board of Directors in December 2023. Jason has significant experience in private equity, where he has led investments in several industrial businesses, overseeing strategy and eventual exits. Prior to this, Jason worked in a number of advisory firms, providing advice on financial restructuring projects.
Jason qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen and has a degree in mathematics from Oxford and a PhD from Leeds University.
Pepyn Dinandt, Chief Executive Officer
Pepyn joined Flint Group as Chief Executive Officer in September 2024. With over 30 years of leadership experience, he brings deep expertise in strategy, operations, sales & marketing, and project management, which he leverages to drive significant EBITDA improvements and build high-performance teams.
Renowned for his ability to guide organisations through complex turnarounds and challenging market conditions, Pepyn combines strategic vision with operational precision, consistently delivering exceptional financial results through a structured, analytical, and systematic approach.
Pepyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and is a graduate of the University of Wales, Cardiff.
Pascal Juéry, non-executive Director
Pascal Juéry is CEO of Agfa-Gevaert and was appointed to Flint Group’s Board of Directors in October 2023.
He has over 30 years of experience in the chemical and advanced material industries. Pascal started his career in finance, then led various global businesses in Europe and the US, as well as held key functional responsibilities. From 2010 to 2019, he was a member of the Executive Committee of Rhodia and then Solvay, where he took an active part in the group portfolio and business transformation.
Pascal joined the Agfa-Gevaert Board of Directors in 2020 and is a graduate of ESCP Business School in Paris, France.
Peter Waller, non-executive Director
Peter Waller is CFO of Aenova Group, a leading contract manufacturer for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and was appointed to Flint Group’s Board of Directors in October 2023.
Peter has served as Group CFO for several multinational companies, where he executed significant performance improvements and successful transactions including with Swissport, the world's largest airport ground handler; CEVA Logistics, a global contract logistics and freight management provider; Flender, a mechanical engineering company; and Eurofins Scientific, the global leader in bio-analytical testing. Peter was previously a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and Alix Partners.
Peter received his Master’s in Management from the University of Mannheim and ESSEC Business School in Paris and holds a doctorate in strategy from the University of Paderborn in Germany.
Ron Muawad, Chief Financial Officer
Ron joined Flint Group in 1996 assuming the position of Assistant Controller in Financial Reporting having spent the early part of his career at Deloitte. In 1998, Ron took the position of Finance Director Europe, living with his family in the UK but returned to the U.S. in 2004 following the acquisition of Flint Ink, BASF and ANI Inks by CVC and his appointment as Group Controller of the newly formed Flint Group organisation. In September 2019, Ron was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Flint Group.
Darren Miller, Chief HR Officer
Darren joined Flint Group in September 2020 as Chief HR Officer. Darren has over 24 years of experience in HR leadership and has worked in North America, UK, Qatar, and South Africa. Prior to joining Flint Group Darren served as Global VP HR for Vesuvius PLC - Advanced Refractories, and prior to that, he worked for Schlumberger PLC for 20 years.
Darren is based in the UK and leads the Global HR Function and sets the group talent agenda.
Jeremy Berenzweig, General Counsel
Jeremy Berenzweig was appointed General Counsel and Senior Vice President – Legal for Flint Group, in April 2015. Jeremy joined the organisation from Cummins Inc the Fortune 250, market leading engine and related technologies manufacturer, where he latterly held the role of Deputy General Counsel - Business Units. Prior to that, Jeremy was head of legal at Sports.com.
Jeremy qualified as a solicitor with the law firm Decherts LLP and is based at the Group’s office in Central London, UK.
Doug Aldred, Chief Commercial Officer, CEO & President Packaging Inks North America
Doug began his career in the Royal Navy, serving across multiple global regions during the 1980s. He later joined Lester Inks in 1987 as part of the management programme before the company’s acquisition by Flint Ink in 1994.
With more than thirty years of leadership in the print and packaging industry, Doug has developed a comprehensive range of skills and experiences across operations, general management, and executive leadership. His career includes senior commercial leadership roles in Europe and North America, along with extensive international responsibilities spanning China, South East Asia, India, the Middle East/Africa, Latin America, and Australia/New Zealand.
Throughout his tenure, Doug has led all major packaging units within Flint Group, managing businesses at both regional and global levels. He notably oversaw a period of expansion in North America, guiding multiple acquisitions and integrating new businesses into the organisation. His industry expertise has also led to board and council service, including the North American Board of Directors of the Flexible Packaging Association and the EuPIA (European Printing Inks Association) Council.
Today, Doug continues to advance Flint Group’s global packaging commercial strategy, working closely with International Key Accounts while leading the North American Packaging Inks division. He also plays a key role in shaping Flint Group’s strategic agenda across Latin America, China, South East Asia, and Australia/New Zealand.
Heiner Klokkers oversees Flint Group’s Packaging Solutions business across Europe, India, Africa, and the Middle East. He plays a key role in shaping Flint Group’s strategic agenda across these regions.
With more than 36 years' experience in the global speciality chemicals, printing inks, and coatings sectors, he brings deep industry expertise and a strong record of executive leadership to his role. Throughout his career, he has held numerous C-suite and board-level roles at internationally recognised companies, driving transformation, growth, and operational excellence.
Mr. Klokkers’ leadership has been marked by a consistent focus on customer value, innovation, and global market expansion. His knowledge of complex manufacturing environments, regulatory landscapes, and supply chain optimisation has been instrumental in leading strategic initiatives and delivering sustainable business performance.
As a senior executive at Flint Group, he is committed to partnering with teams across the organisation to enhance customer service and commercial execution. His leadership style fosters accountability, collaboration, and innovation – ensuring that Flint Group is well-positioned to navigate market challenges and lead the industry in packaging solutions.
Roy Van der Pijl, President Transfer Media & Chemicals
Roy van der Pijl is a seasoned global leader with extensive experience in purchasing, regulatory affairs, and commercial strategy. Since joining Flint Group in 2016, he has held a variety of senior leadership roles across multiple business segments and functions, contributing to the company’s strategic direction and customer-focused initiatives.
Roy brings a strong background in logistics and supply chain management from his earlier career, which he has successfully leveraged to enhance operational efficiency and customer value at Flint Group.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
Robert Forster, President CPW
Robert was appointed President, CPW at Flint Group in 2025. He brings broad leadership experience across industrial and building materials sectors, with a focus on transformation and operational excellence.
He joins from Holcim, where he led the Building Envelope Division across EMEA and Asia. He previously held senior roles at BMI Group, driving turn-around, post-merger integration and performance improvement projects. Earlier in his career, he worked at PwC, mostly advising financial and strategic investors in M&A transactions.
Michael Fien, Chief Digital Officer
Michael Fien oversees Flint Group’s Digital Roadmap and broader transformation agenda, while also serving as CFO Europe. Since joining the organisation via BASF in 2001, he has played a continuous role in Flint Group’s development and growth, contributing to both strategic planning and operational improvements across the business.
Throughout his senior finance leadership roles in regional and global Packaging business units, Michael has supported operational performance, guided key strategic initiatives, and contributed to numerous M&A activities. His work has strengthened organisational capabilities and helped align business operations with long-term strategic goals.
His earlier experience as a manufacturing plant controller in the automotive supply industry provided a strong foundation in operational and financial management, shaping his pragmatic and performance-driven approach to leadership.
Roland Schwögler, Chief Procurement Officer
Roland joined Flint Group as Chief Procurement Officer in April 2025 and is a member of the Executive Committee. He brings over 20 years of global experience in procurement, supply chain and strategic sourcing across industries including packaging, metal, automotive and chemicals. Prior to Flint Group, he was Chief Procurement Officer in several Companies, led procurement transformation, delivering significant results, value creation and has fundamental experience in private equity. Roland holds a master degree in automotive engineering and a MBA title as a graduate from the Technical University of Munich TUM.
Alan Richards, Chief Operations and Supply Chain Officer
Alan Richards joined Flint Group as Chief Operations and Supply Chain Officer in September 2025. Alan brings extensive international leadership experience in operations, supply chain and sustainability. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sustainability at KP, where he managed a €2 billion business across more than 130 global sites. In this role, he led large-scale operational transformations, drove excellence across supply chains, and spearheaded award-winning ESG initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Alan held senior leadership positions at global brands including LEGO, Mars, Inc., and Essentra PLC, where he delivered multi-million-euro savings, accelerated innovation, and enhanced safety and efficiency.
