Jason Clarke, Chairman

Jason Clarke was appointed Chairman of the Flint Group Board of Directors in December 2023. Jason has significant experience in private equity, where he has led investments in several industrial businesses, overseeing strategy and eventual exits. Prior to this, Jason worked in a number of advisory firms, providing advice on financial restructuring projects.

Jason qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen and has a degree in mathematics from Oxford and a PhD from Leeds University.

Pepyn Dinandt, Chief Executive Officer

Pepyn joined Flint Group as Chief Executive Officer in September 2024. With over 30 years of leadership experience, he brings deep expertise in strategy, operations, sales & marketing, and project management, which he leverages to drive significant EBITDA improvements and build high-performance teams.

Renowned for his ability to guide organisations through complex turnarounds and challenging market conditions, Pepyn combines strategic vision with operational precision, consistently delivering exceptional financial results through a structured, analytical, and systematic approach.

Pepyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and is a graduate of the University of Wales, Cardiff.

Pascal Juéry, non-executive Director

Pascal Juéry is CEO of Agfa-Gevaert and was appointed to Flint Group’s Board of Directors in October 2023.

He has over 30 years of experience in the chemical and advanced material industries. Pascal started his career in finance, then led various global businesses in Europe and the US, as well as held key functional responsibilities. From 2010 to 2019, he was a member of the Executive Committee of Rhodia and then Solvay, where he took an active part in the group portfolio and business transformation.

Pascal joined the Agfa-Gevaert Board of Directors in 2020 and is a graduate of ESCP Business School in Paris, France.

Peter Waller, non-executive Director

Peter Waller is CFO of Aenova Group, a leading contract manufacturer for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and was appointed to Flint Group’s Board of Directors in October 2023.

Peter has served as Group CFO for several multinational companies, where he executed significant performance improvements and successful transactions including with Swissport, the world's largest airport ground handler; CEVA Logistics, a global contract logistics and freight management provider; Flender, a mechanical engineering company; and Eurofins Scientific, the global leader in bio-analytical testing. Peter was previously a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and Alix Partners.

Peter received his Master’s in Management from the University of Mannheim and ESSEC Business School in Paris and holds a doctorate in strategy from the University of Paderborn in Germany.

Ron Muawad, Chief Financial Officer

Ron joined Flint Group in 1996 assuming the position of Assistant Controller in Financial Reporting having spent the early part of his career at Deloitte. In 1998, Ron took the position of Financial Controller Europe living with his family in the UK but returned to the U.S. in 2004 following the acquisition of Flint Ink, BASF and ANI Inks by CVC and his appointment as Group Controller of the newly formed Flint Group organisation. In September 2019, Ron was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Flint Group.

Darren Miller, Chief HR Officer

Darren joined Flint Group in September 2020 as Chief HR Officer. Darren has over 24 years of experience in HR leadership and has worked in North America, UK, Qatar, and South Africa. Prior to joining Flint Group Darren served as Global VP HR for Vesuvius PLC - Advanced Refractories, and prior to that, he worked for Schlumberger PLC for 20 years.  

Darren is based in the UK and leads the Global HR Function and sets the group talent agenda.

Jeremy Berenzweig, General Counsel

Jeremy Berenzweig was appointed General Counsel and Senior Vice President – Legal for Flint Group, in April 2015. Jeremy joined the organisation from Cummins Inc the Fortune 250, market leading engine and related technologies manufacturer, where he latterly held the role of Deputy General Counsel - Business Units. Prior to that, Jeremy was head of legal at Sports.com.

Jeremy qualified as a solicitor with the law firm Decherts LLP and is based at the Group’s office in Central London, UK.

Doug Aldred, Chief Commercial Officer

Having previously served in the Royal Navy, Doug Aldred joined Lester Ink’s management programme in 1987, based in Toronto, Canada. Doug quickly progressed through various purchasing, production and supply chain management roles prior to the acquisition by Flint Group in 1994. In 1998, Doug relocated from Canada to the Netherlands to lead our Sheetfed business and in 2005, he assumed responsibility for the European Packaging business. From 2011, Doug successfully led Flint Group’s European & North American Packaging Inks and Global Narrow Web business - assuming global responsibility for the Packaging Inks business in 2017.

Doug’s comprehensive industry experience includes his serving on the North American Board of Directors of the Flexible Packaging Association and the EuPIA (European Printing Inks Association) Council. Today, Doug draws extensively from his over thirty years of experience in general management and senior leadership roles across our Packaging, Sheetfed and Narrow Web businesses.

Heiner Klokkers, Publications Chief Executive Officer

Heiner Klokkers is the CEO of Flint Group's newly established Publications Division, where he oversees the company’s business and operations in Heatset and News Inks, Sheetfed Offset printing inks & coatings, pressroom chemicals, and transfer media. With extensive executive leadership and board experience, Mr Klokkers brings over six years of expertise as the CEO of a global speciality chemicals, printing inks, and coatings company. His appointment strengthens Flint Group’s commitment to enhancing service and support for its customers across the printing consumables sector, leveraging his profound industry knowledge to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.

Tony Lord, Chief Operations & Supply Chain Officer

Currently, Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain, Tony Lord’s journey with Flint Group spans over 32 years.  Previously working within the company’s Commercial, Publication and Web division, Tony is now responsible for the entirety of Flint Group, globally.

Tony is focused on process optimisation and overall efficiency. His relentless pursuit of operational excellence has been a key driver in adapting Flint Group’s supply chain and operations departments to meet the dynamic needs of the packaging and printing markets served by the company.  Delivering high-quality products and best-in-class service levels is a top priority for Tony and his teams in all regions of the world.

Michael Fien, Chief Digital Officer

Michael Fien joined Flint Group via BASF in 2001 and was part of the creation and transformation of Flint Group. Michael held various finance leadership roles in Flint Group Packaging capturing regional and global business units, supporting and driving the operational business including major projects and M&A activities. Before, Michael worked as manufacturing plant controller in the automotive supply industry.

Alejandra Garcia, Chief Procurement Officer

Alejandra Garcia has been appointed as Chief Procurement Officer of Flint Group, effective September 1st, 2024. She reports to the Flint Group CEO and is part of the Executive Committee. Alejandra brings a wealth of experience in driving strategic value creation through her deep understanding of complex supply chains and their impact on overall business performance. She has a proven track record in leading procurement transformations across FMCG giants like Mars and Unilever, as well as in industrial sectors with DSM and Dupont. Alejandra’s expertise spans procurement operations, complex integrations, and successful outsourcing initiatives, consistently delivering bottom-line results through cost reduction, margin expansion, and profit growth. Her leadership will be instrumental in optimising Flint Group’s procurement processes, enhancing supply chain resilience, and driving continued business success.
