Flint Group's pressroom consumables division - Day International, are pleased to introduce a new addition to the Varn Pro-Web range. Varn Pro-Web Titanium is a high quality silicone emulsion formulated for use in heatset web printing. Pro-Web Titanium offers excellent stability, low viscosity and enhanced wetting - giving an even, unbroken film on the applicator roller, thus enhancing emulsion transfer.

Varn Pro-Web Titanium is manufactured using unique ingredients, especially formulated in Day's brand new, state of the art manufacturing facility. These tailor made ingredients provide the end user with a high performance silicone emulsion that remoisturises the web, performs consistently at high speeds, eliminates smearing, reduces streaking, prevents build up on path rollers, turner bars, folder tapes etc. and improves post print processes such as folding, cutting and stacking.

Varn Pro-Web Titanium contains a brand new, high perfomance additive, giving greater performance on today's high speed presses. All this contributes to reduced cost and enhanced productivity.

Varn Pro-Web Titanium is highly concentrated with a solid content of 50%. Low dosage of this product is the key to efficiency and therefore economy. Varn Pro-Web Titanium should be dosed at 2-4% depending on the substrate and application. Additional anti-static additives and neutral pH compliment this high quality product.

Varn Pro-Web and FBS ranges of silicone emulsions meet today's exacting requirements that include considerable increases in press speeds, the use of lesser quality paper stocks, demands on the quality and finish of the final product, environmental and economic considerations.
