Visitors are excited by new exposure technology for flexo printing plates

On November 7 and 8, 2011 Flint Group Flexographic Products presented the new high performance exposure technology, nyloflex® NExT, to an international audience. Approximately one hundred visitors came to the two events in Stuttgart for the informative lectures. Martina Nast, Head of Technical Service Printing Plates Flint Group Flexographic Products, presented an application report providing specific insights, as well as tips and hints for printing with nyloflex® NExT technology and showed the wide range of capabilities of the new technology.

 A live demonstration followed, in which visitors could observe first hand the efficiency of the new technology. Concurrently, a 3D analysis of flexo plates exposed with nyloflex® NExT was presented.

 To benefit from all advantages of high definition flexo, the conventional way of reproducing digital plates has to be improved,” says Markus Muehlfeit, Product Manager Flint Group Flexographic Products, „nyloflex® NExT technology allows precise and optimal reproduction of the digital layout onto the finished plate.” This smart solution offers the user a high-performance exposure technology to produce precisely defined surfaces on flat top dots, providing among the highest print quality with excellent ink lay-down, even with long print runs. At the same time, nyloflex® NExT technology is suitable for all digital flexo plates, regardless of type, thickness and format and can easily be implemented into existing digital workflows.  A final advantage for the user worth noting: Different to competitive technologies, there is no need for additional consumables.

Visitors showed a high interest 

The interest in the new technology is extremely high, and several quotes for both exposure types, nyloflex® NExT Exposure F V and nyloflex® NExT Exposure F III, have already been requested.
