Flexocure LEAP shortlisted among top Sustainable Innovations at British Coatings Federation Awards

Flint Group Packaging Solutions has been shortlisted at the 2026 British Coatings Federation (BCF) Awards, with its Flexocure® LEAP ink system named one of three finalists in the Sustainable Innovation category.

The nomination recognises Flexocure LEAP’s strong environmental credentials as a solventless, 100% solids UV ink system that removes VOC emissions and avoids the waste associated with solvent evaporation, ensuring all applied ink stays on the substrate.

Built on a revolutionary resin technology, the ink offers significantly improved migration safety for indirect food contact packaging applications through a combination of carefully selected raw materials and performance characteristics suited to demanding press conditions.

The BCF Awards recognises excellence and innovation across the UK’s ink and coatings industries. The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on 12 November.
