Flint Group retains EcoVadis Gold Medal for second consecutive year
Flint Group has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for 2026, marking its second consecutive year at the Gold level. The company scored 79/100, placing it in the 95th percentile and among the top 4% of companies in the printing industry.
EcoVadis is among the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings. Its assessments evaluate companies across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The company’s 2026 score represents an improvement over its 2025 result of 76/100.
Highlights from its 2026 assessment include a score increase from 71 to 83 in Sustainable Procurement and an increase from 74 to 83 in Ethics.
In addition to its strong CSR rating, Flint Group achieved a Leader level rating in the 2026 Carbon Scorecard and is described by EcoVadis as “a company with a strong Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management system and best-in-class decarbonisation commitments, actions and reporting capabilities.”
Heiner Klokkers, CEO & President Packaging Inks Europe at Flint Group, said: "Retaining Gold for a second year, with an improved overall score, reflects genuine progress across our sustainability programme. The gains in Sustainable Procurement and Ethics are particularly significant, since both require a consistent, cross-functional effort.”
Mr Klokkers concluded: “Results like this don’t happen in isolation. They are the product of dedicated work across the business, with every single person playing their part. We are understandably proud of this result and remain focused on continuous improvement."
Flint Group’s sustainability strategy is guided by its PRISM framework, centred on Product, Planet and People, with clear targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The company remains committed to continuous improvement across all areas assessed by EcoVadis.
