Weigang Technology becomes Ecolyne distributor in Greater China

Flint Group Digital Xeikon has appointed Weigang Technology as a distributor of its Ecolyne dry-toner label printing platform in Greater China. The agreements were signed today, Pepyn Dinandt, CEO of Flint Group Packaging Solutions, Walter Benz, President of Flint Group Digital Xeikon and Ryan Zhou, General Manager of Weigang Technology attended the signing.

At the core of the cooperation is a Distribution Agreement granting Weigang rights to sell, service and support the Ecolyne platform in Greater China. Alongside it, the companies signed a Manufacturing and Sourcing Agreement covering Ecolyne production, and a broader Contract Manufacturing Agreement providing a framework for a manufacturing cooperation over time. Product-specific, geographic and implementation details for the broader agreement will be announced as individual projects progress.

Designed for industrial-scale digital label production, Ecolyne combines dry-toner print quality and substrate flexibility with the throughput converters need to run label jobs efficiently. Bringing Ecolyne to Greater China through Weigang pairs that capability with established local engineering, manufacturing and converter relationships.
