Inks for News Print

The Directory series of process colours and black were developed specifically for use in the production of telephone directories on uncoated paper stocks of very low grammage. The inks are designed on a 'single phase' vehicle system to enable fast penetration of paper which facilitates minimal build up on angle bars, extremely low marking and set-off and no blocking in delivery logs to allow for smooth delivery into the bindery system.
The Newsman 060 series of process colours were developed specifically for use in the News Limited Group. They are designed on a 'single phase' vehicle system to enable fast penetration of newsprint stocks which facilitates less marking through the press, and enabling more efficient printing on back to back colour.
The Newsman 085 black was developed specifically for use by the News Limited Group in their overshot duct presses. Newsman 085 black is based on a 'single phase' vehicle system that has been designed for fast penetration of newsprint stocks.
